Troubleshooting Installation Issues for Weatherproof Cable Gland Outdoor
1. Threads Don’t Engage Properly
Confirm the knockout hole is the correct 1/2" NPT size (20.06mm)
Ensure the cable diameter is within the 6–12mm range
Remove any wraps, heat-shrink, or zip ties increasing diameter
2. Seal Feels Loose / Not Fully Waterproof
Step 1: Cable Size Check
Too small = loose seal Too large = limited compression
