This system has an accuracy of + or - 0.9 degrees F (0.5 degrees C). Its probe measures 3.5" and has a 1mm tip for reduced impact. The 0.5" high LCD screen displays temperature readings. The unit operates on two AAA batteries, and turns off automatically after 10 minutes of non-use to conserve battery life. The probe's reinforced cable wraps around sensor unit for storage. It is Ingress Protection certified IPX7 for protection against immersion in water up to 1m. This temperature sensor is for use in industrial or food service environments.
