Dry brand-new air stones trap air inside pores and cut down airflow. Soak the air stone fully in water for 10 mins before use to let water thoroughly soak the inner pores, then connect the air tube and place it into the fish tank.
At a water depth of 30 cm, an air pump rated for a max airflow of 9 L/min can run up to 7 small air stones at one time.
