EASY TO USE
The tool is installed in place of the derailleur, extending the plane of the hanger to magnify any alignment issues.
The sliding indicator is set to the depth of the rim surface and locked in place.
This measurement is checked against other points on the wheel to determine the amount of misalignment.
The shaft of the tool is used to bend the derailleur hanger into alignment.
Finally, the indicator is reset to the rim to check the adjustment.
Once this process is complete for horizontal alignment, it is repeated for vertical alignment.
